I would just like to give an example of making through affiliate marketing without using any SEO methods. This can also be very challenging. I love SEO, but this time I will try to skip it! Why? Because I love challenge and I want to do it lightning fast.
SEO has all the benefit, except speed. Well, we can make a good benefit before SEO even ‘starts to work’ on our very new domain.
Ok, let’s go. Our plan is:
- Fast niche research
- Even faster keyword research
- One click website creation
- Auto responder turbo implementation
- Quick making ugly banners (yes, very ugly)
- Setting up our PPC campaign on the fly
fast => faster => one click => turbo => quick => on the fly = > automatic
How you will use this method, it really depends on your imagination, ideas and skills. You can have fun, you can add this tutorial to your knowledge base or you can earn money. I won’t get into it as it depends on you.
I see this method cool for projects that don’t require traffic from very competitive countries because we will pay for our click only $0.01 USD and we won’t be able to break through competitors with $0.01 USD to get visitors from USA etc… This traffic will still be targeted but more likely from other countries that are not so competitive with other advertisers.
OK. This will be very fast step by step tutorial.
1) Fast niche research
You can implement this method in your existing project if it fits to your ideas and needs. You don’t have to spend hours and days for researching, though you can, if you like. If you find PPL affiliate program that will pay you e.g. $1.00 USD per 1 referral email address, you can consider yourself as a finder of a gold mine because you will able to get 100 targeted visitors to your landing page for only $1.00 USD and be able to convert it to $100.00 USD (if your conversion would be 100%).100% conversion is impossible in this case but with targeted audience you can have at least 40%, which means that investment of $1.00 USD returns $40.00 USD, which is not bad at all. Please don’t get to high with this calculation, some people could get this work very well and other people couldn’t. I’ve found it very useful when I needed it.
2) Even faster keyword research
This will be fast and easy. Grab free Keyword Optimizer Pro software and get your 50,000 keywords in minutes. Did I say 50,000 keywords? Yes. You want this to work or not? Just grab 50,000 keywords and save it in text editor grouped by 2,000. When you finish, you should have 25 groups containing 2,000 keywords each (we will copy/paste it later in Google Adwords campaign).You can start your keyword research by visiting Google Keyword tool and get top 10-15 keywords for your niche. Keyword Optimizer Pro will make you approximately 3 – 5 thousands of keywords from each one of your top keywords you found by using Google Keyword Tool. Maybe it will take some time for software to generate all the keywords you need, but you can do something else while you wait or you can have a short coffee brake if you like. If you have a better way to generate 50,000 related keywords, you are free to use it, as long as it works.
Don’t bother with popularity and search volume of the keywords. You will have 50,000 of keywords so you don’t have to worry about it.
3) One click website creation
This step is necessary only if you still don’t have a website or you want to build a new one. I don’t have to explain that today almost all hosting companies have ‘one click’ WordPress install option so you can set up your blog in a less than a minute. You can just Google it or simply watch tutorial if you have cpanel on your hosting account.4) Auto responder turbo implementation
Since you will use Google Adwords, you should have your own landing page. Don’t try to make Adwords campaign with affiliate links or something like that.Go to Aweber and get it for $1.00 USD (first month). You can implement Aweber form on your landing page in a minute. Once you sign up you have video tutorials for every step you need. Just copy/paste and you’re done.
5) Quick making ugly banners (yes, very ugly)
This is my favorite part (just kidding). I recommend using Photoshop or whatever image editor you like. Just make ugly banners without any fancy graphics. You should rather use BIG fat text like: “SHOCKING, you should see my dog!” because you don’t want to win design contest, you want to get visitors. White background with black and red text will do the best.Don’t forget to make banners related to you offer because you don’t want to attract any visitors. You want to get those visitors that are interested in your niche.
Important: You must make banners in all dimensions that Google Adwords allows you in order to make this campaign works.
6) Setting up our PPC campaign on the fly
The good news is that we will use Google Adwords and pay the minimum of $0.01 USD. We will be able to accomplish this because of huge number of keywords we will use. This is the only secret here.If you got 50,000 keywords from one of our previous steps, then the rest is very easy. We have keywords and ugly banners and all we need is to make our campaign and wait for approval.
Speaking about our approval, it’s really important to make your landing page according to Google Adwords guidelines. Don’t rush into this and don’t risk. You GA account could be suspended if your landing page (or ads) violates their guidelines. You don’t want that to happen. Please read Google Adwords landing page guidelines carefully before you start your campaign.
Ok, after I scared you with this, we can now continue. Our target will be: All countries, All devices, English, Display Network and our default bid will be $0.01 USD. You can leave your daily budget up to $25.00 USD, though you probably won’t spend more that 7-8 USD a day.
